Aura: Speaking for myself, I consider a person intelligent when: They are curious about most any topic and always seek to gain new knowledge. Have some understanding on how this knowledge could be applied. Able to geek out about their passion (as in they can be so enthusiastic about the topic they really love that it's contagious) They enjoy reading and thinking about new ideas and perspectives And most importantly they can sit with only their own thoughts to entertain them for some length of time. Intelligent with a high IQ mixed with high emotional quotient (EQ) and high common sense is what I like but if I had one to choose high common sense ...
