What has your dog ever chewed???? Delilah63: OMG - she started chewing my shoes again!! Help, my black lab, Midnight who will be 3 this January, has started chewing my shoes again. And she'll chew only one of a pair - and they are always one of my FAVOURITE pairs! When she was a pup, she managed to completely DESTROY a new couch my sister had just given me! The three large pillows on which we sat, I kept molding into shape and covering them with a slim comforter, to this day I still haven't had the heart to tell my sister. The couch is gone of course, but nobody knows why. She managed to break the $100 cage I bought her. The day after I got it I put her in it. Remember it was her firs time in there. I was gone for about 2 hrs and when I returned, she was out of the cage. I looked at it, it looked like the cage the raptors broke out of in Jurasic Park for %#@$ sake!!!!!! MY DOG WAS A FRIGGIN DINOSAUR AND BROKE OUT OF HER CAGE!!! That was a GREAT investment that cage was, yesssirrreeeee. The saddest part is that the hardwood floor and cage, and Midnight had feces (shit) all over. Seems she got nervous and probably got the runs, and runs and shits!!! So that was a mess to clean up regardless to say. So I was wondering if any other dog lover had some funny, amazing, interesting, comical stories to share with other dog lovers??? I for one would love to laugh at someone else instead of myself!! Thanks all,  Sables: lets see where to start, besides every wicker garbage container, hmmmm the arm of my queen anne chair two wicker chairs thought after the first one he was a budding decorator and moved the wicker chair with the other in the bedroom. Apparently that was not the spot for them either  Sables: the problem is what he doesn't eat. He is not fat just a big boy, gets lots of exercise and I feed him a part holistic and raw diet.  Delilah63: well then he's just a healthy, strong dog - good for him I have a problem with Midnight picking up garbage and crap people throw outside - she's like a garbage can!!!  veenoh83: My old dog (Staffy - who is 14) has chewed two plates....the ones that contain false teeth. She also as a pup liked stockings and we would often find her swinging around on them. My other dog (German Koolie X - 7) was quite spiteful as a pup. Whoever had to discipline her, she would pick their item (and only theirs) on the clothesline and destroy it. She would be told again by someone else and their item would be ruined....and believe me it was unfortunately never anything cheap. But they are both good girls, life wouldn't be the same without them. Delilah63: well just think of all the friends he'll meet in Dog Heacven! And the wonderful green fields he will be running in.... Dulzura774: I have 3 dogs...2 puppies (well not exactly) - my Lab loves shoes, he started off eating shoes...he likes the runners intersoles the most. Now it's a "catch me if you can game"...my Rotti eats, or tries to eat almost anything from our couch to the hot tub cover...oh yes and the base boards are his favourite...and not even pepper sauce deters him!! kidrotten: My dog eats my underwear. And also my nightguard. But he had no teeth, so nothing ever get destroyed.  lambychopple: My dog chews alot. He loves cereal type boxes, toilet paper rolls, etc. He has chewed the toes off many socks, some shoes too. VUnfortunately, if I leave a pair of jeans, panties or leggings on the floor(or if a cat knocks them on the floor), they become crotchless.
