What book(s) are you reading now? (Page 3) travel181: I'm reading Dead to The World by Charlaine Harris. It's a fantastic new series that the HBO show True Blood is based on. The books are just as good. For anyone who's a fan the first book in the series is called Dead Untill Dark and then it goes on from there.  ~ Ovaltine ~: another recommended book : "The New Life" - - a great novel by Orhan Pamuk but i read the chinese version ~  RenesmeeCullen: i´m readin thehost by stephanie meyer :d very interesting book such as the twilight sequel  rickyb1961: I'm re-reading "Homeland" by John Jakes. I love a good, long read. I just finished reading "California", also by John Jakes.  nicoleflorence: I am reading "The Host" By Stephenie Meyer. I already read all of her books apart from this one. I saw the movie for "Twilight" 7 times in theaters already. wattle: I have just finished reading 'The Persimmon Tree'. by Bryce Courtenay. About to start the folllow on 'Fishing for Stars' sledger57: Just finished Sick Puppy by Carl Hiaasen, which was great, like all his books! If you've never read any of his books, hes kind of a mystery, suspence, enviromentalist (In the Florida Everglades) author, with a wicked sense of humor. His books are my, "flavor of the month" favorites right now! Sledger takmaster: after a week of not reading i get to start book 3 of the sword of truth series tom. by terry goodkind i have gotten mixed reviews about this part of the series ill keep updating as i venture into it takmaster: so i started book 3 of the sword of truth series The Blood of the Fold i am about 100 pages into it it moves a bit slow but so far the story is great most assuredly up to par.  chuck231: i am reading the sword of truth series for the first time i am two books away from finishing but i cant find the second to last one mayjayran: just finished Mike McCardells' Getting to the Bubble. He's a reporter for BC Global news & has a segment at end of news-always a human interest story. He's a great story teller. Christmas present from my grandaughter. Got a gift certificate from Chapters for Christmas & can't wait to spend it  Santina: I'm currently reading Duma Key by Stephen King. I'm not very far in, but so far, its pretty good...doesn't seem like his usual stuff, but, I guess I'll find out soon enough. AND Tomorrow I'm buying The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I've heard its good, better than the Twilight Series. If thats the case, I'll have it done before 9pm tomorrow night!  LolitaIris: I am reading The Lace Reader by Brunonia Barry, and re-reading Harry Potter OotP. That and all my college texts. xp I just bought a dictionary today too. @Santina: The Host is better than Twilight. Di*k, reading The Crusader by Michael Alexander Eisner. wattle: Just started a new book. The Guernsey Literary and Potatoe Peel Society. Its written in letter format. An easy, breezy read.
