what type of books do you like to read? sanorita: Hello all i want to ask you  what type of books do you like to read? well..i like to read about geography and books that talk about how people behave what about you?  Victoria_May: I like to read about geography too... but as rule I read almost all trash and then do some findings.. liked or no..  DieFerrie: I like to read historical fiction like Don DeLillo's Libra. It's about JFK's killer. I also like to read dreamy beatnik things like Richard Brautigan's writings, especially In Watermelon Sugar.  chronology: Brautigan was a unique writer. How his body was found was like a scene from one of his books. A friend was walking through Brautigans large empty house and found him lying dead on the floor. He had been dead for some time, perhaps a month. Sounds like a chapter from 'The Hawkline Monster'. Brautigan would have wrote a perfect biography of Lee Oswald. Wonder why he never did? Well, since I am a forensic science major, I like reading books about crime, science and human behavior. I also like reading Greek mythology. chronology: Forencic Student. Have you read 'Criminal Shadows' by Dr David Canter? It is an easy read. However Dr Canter will anger you Guys who are fans of Jodie Foster type Criminal Pro-filers. He says; 'Profiling does not solve Crimes, only old fashioned Police Work does that. However, Criminal Profiling is helpful in allowing us to fill in the reasons why people commit crimes'. He is also full of admiration for the F.B.I. Swat Teams trained at the Headquarters Jodie Foster depicted in her Movie 'Silence of the Lambs'. bluegirl8082: Most vampire books, fiction, but also novels...
