bella1007: Amazing what teachers take and can't do in return. I remember breaking up a fight before it even started. I said you know what will happen if you throw the first punch. Damn even I didn't know what would happen. I guess attitude does speak volumes.

flybutterfly: I am not violent at all but you know...we can only take so much. I try to be there for the ones that need me or need any kind of help... but the truth is that life is soooooooooo messed up that we can hardly do anything to help them.

bella1007: I teach in Canada and high school mathematics. I find that teaching confidence in mathematics is first and then maybe they may remember some of the rules. LOL.

flybutterfly: I'm argentinian but I want to go to the States to do a masters on Linguistics...erm let's see what happens with that

bella1007: It is interesting to see what teachers in other countries see. I myself teach in Canada.

flybutterfly: how is teaching there?

bella1007: I teach in an alternative education program. We offer online and paper based versions of the same course. The students have the ability to either do the course online/paper/or a combination of both. I have never been a traditional teacher, so this is perfect for me. I can help the students that really want or need my help.

Gala_: sorry Andie, but we dont tolerate Violence from Teachers here. I am sure to teach in Canada you would have to upgrade your training ..... and posting this kind of threatening Forum, would get you FIRED, ON THE SPOT up here in Canada. Pls change occupations, or learn to teach in a better manner. Obviously the kids are not being intellectually challenged enough.........so teach better, so they will learn. Remember, "If they aren't Learning, you are not Teaching"!!!

flybutterfly: ermmm I think you should read again what i said and just so you know...i would never hurt a student so mind your own business. It's obvious you are not a teacher...so you wouldn't know what it is to be in a difficult class...that's something you should learn. i guess some people talk only coz they have mouths.... and have nothing to say

flybutterfly: it's not about handling kids, it's about teaching them, school is not a daycare....and unless you are a teacher... you have no idea what i'm talking about....again...i wouldn't hurt a kid...sheesh
