What Drives Your Writing? (Page 3) WildFireLion: I just love to write stories, funny or scifi related, just go off on a tangent and most seem to find it amusing at the very least... Iowagent58: My head is full of useless information. Sometimes out of the chaotic flow of this information a story takes root. Next characters are born, grow, mature then finally take over the story. Once my characters are in control the story often veers from my intended path. It is actually exciting and fun, not knowing where my characters may choose to take me. That is what inspires and motivates my writing. Am I making any sense at all? albert_west: The enjoyment of being creative. My inner child who wants to create wonderful characters who go on amazing adventures and overcome adversities and triumph in the end. Eeelizabeth: I am inspired through my work. As a Mental Health and Addictions therapist I hear many unbelievable stories. Just the ways my clients word things or some of the amazing things that have pulled them through I feel like cannot just be dreamed up. It is just too amazing. Laceysworld: I mainly just write what's on my mind but sometimes it's driven by music. 1. I listen to music while I'm writing or doing anything and if a genre gets me in the right state of mind I'll be able to keep a good flow. 2. For the most part I tell stories of the my past so that inspires me best. read if you'd like. they range for basic journal entries to true life stories to advice articles. laceysworld Greyfeather: My memory inspired me, childhood and the experience of silence and observation, I was observing the surroundings more than talking, and when I remember those old feelings, the passion of writing begins to emerge as if it is an urgent need, as if something is screaming in me until it is born, music also or a situation that attracts me mayfield0675: I can't read are write good but I love trying I love to get people to write with me came up with good stories like that yippeskippy: In my case, pain and stress have pushed me to write. I channel all of the negative energy into writing and for the most part its positive. If I am writing a story then I might channel some of the negative to give a different perspective. If I'm happy though, I probably won't write lol which kind of sucks, but then again I would rather be doing other things anyway. wildflower79: i always was creative as kid and as a got older i found writing again in highschool . i write cause i have stories i want tell |
