Becoming one whit universe Ljossalfar: Trough meditation you reach state where you are one whit universe. And when you come out of it only then you realise, ou yea I have the body and everything Maybe anyone experienced it knows to tell more about it? catty_india: ya its very true ....but it really comes with great practice and concentration........best way to do is to try listening your heart beats Bell214: My own, at the moment. lol I mean, I do it in my way. Deep breathing, focusing on one point, clearing all thoughts ... Can you suggest some better way? You? Albert25: well i don't think there's any best way. every individual is different and will respond to different meditations differently. for the last little while, I've been using Deva Premal's Gayatri Mantra to get the chi flowing.. Bell214: Do you use CT and AT? I use amethyst, moonstone, tiger's eye, falcon's (or hawk's) eye and rose quartz crystal. Lavender, sandal and cinnamon, vanilla, moon (it's indian incense, I don't know what mix is that, but the fragrance is great.) Bell214: Really? Oh, I'm glad to hear that. Because people here think I'm a bit ... let's say ... weird. But it helps. And I feel better, even if it's only the placebo effect. Albert25: the mind is more powerful than we think. if we truly believe in something, many things are possible (i wrote this to you, already, but it applies here too) Ljossalfar: well as I read in one book of one famous Estonian Yoga teacher that deep breathing isn't very good the point is to bread less and longer yogis think that one who can stop breathing becomes immortal btw welcome to club Ljossalfar: everyone is weird but only few are who they are we are in Theater enjoy the show and don't forget not for moment it is just a show Bell214: Thank you, Ljoss. But … But … How come that deep breathing is not good now????? I have read that people should learn “to breathe“ for their health. In a 2005 review and analysis of several studies, Dr. Richard Brown (Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University), and Dr. Patricia Gerbarg (Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at New York Medical College) reported that yogic deep-breathing techniques were extremely effective in handling depression, anxiety, insomnia, muscle tension and pain, and stress-related disorders. These techniques can serve as an excellent adjunct to conventional medical treatment — or in some cases as a suitable substitute — in treating myriad psychological disorders, as well as eating disorders and obesity. Deep, rhythmic breathing expands the diaphragm muscle, expanding the lung’s air pockets, invoking the relaxation response. Further review and analysis of research by Drs. Brown and Gerbarg resulted in the development of a new neuropsychological theory for how yogic breathing may affect the stress response system and calm the mind and body. Ljossalfar: well I dont have any of thous things and I dont make to myself thous things, stress insomnia positive thinking, listening to yourself... you see I am not very good citizen because I like to for my own opinion when you breath deaply you are based on your emotions, cut the air... just leave enouth you need to function the brain,... and you will think not whit emotions but whit clear thinking and if,.. if if realy needed thous deep breathings... then you should do it whit some yoga master or something,... becours you can do more damage to yourself then good CanadianTheorist: One poster put: "the mind is more powerful than we think. if we truly believe in something, many things are possible (i wrote this to you, already, but it applies here too)" That seems true, and I wonder how much is actually possible. Can we move objects, create world peace, what is possible using only our mind. Lots of stuff if we live in a world that is composed of energy, like a matrix style hologram right? |
