Is it age matters when u love someone? (Page 2) paulmansfield2009: age has no bearing ; chemistry plays a big part; age at one time was the norm; like many taboo's My better half is 18 years my junior; like any relationship ; it takes work to maintain its value AretoNyx: Chemistry does matter but hubby still like the looks of young adults. Nature is like that we all get older. I think he likes me too but nothing like those girls in magazines I guess.lol Love is a whole other thing that can exist regardless and different ways. Not only erotic love but friendly love and so on. prof351: I'm 72 and I'm in great shape both physically and mentally. I'm 6'2" 197# I lift free weights 3 hours a week, do yoga or bike at least 30 minutes a day. I have a post graduate degree and I stay mentally sharp reading every day. As for an age of a partner that I'd be willing to develop a relationship with, it depends. First I think the youngest I'd date would be 35 and she'd have to be smart, fit and mature. It's very unlikely I'd date someone that young. I can most definitely see dating a woman in her 50s or 60s. So perhaps 20 years is about the max range for me at this point. Think about it if I'm 20 years older, when I'm 90 she's 70 that's no fun for her. So at this point in my life if I dated a 35 year old it would clearly be with the understanding that it was not going to be some life long relationship, but more likely simply that we loved spending time together and sharing a hell of a lot of fun together. Hope this makes sense. |
