Neville Longbottom - The other chosen one???

soulsplitter: Could Neville have been the other chosen one, alongside Harry? The prophecy was kind of fuzzy about the details...

turtlekitten: It would have been nice to see a different face in there. Though Neville does come out of himself quite abit as the story unfolds. I don't doubt that were he in Harry's shoes, he might have been quite different. But I could be wrong. It could make him even more shy then he already is.

But because she already knew how the story was going to go...hence the name of the series, it was very clear who "The Chosen One" was going to be...but I do find it quite amusing that they share potential for the "Chosen One" title to be either of them.

AHeartlessNobody: yeah but in book seven look at what neville's done thru out that book, and in book number five order of the pheonix he stepped out of his usual character, instead of being shy and timid or nervous or anything of the sort he help harry, he fought against bellatrix i think maybe the prophecy was about Both of them instead of just harry or just neville
