WHO'S YOUR FAVOURITE DRUMMER (Page 11) struanrobertson02: Challenge accepted. I put forth my champion. Ser Marco Minnieman, Aristocrat of Germany. (Post deleted by struanrobertson02 ) struanrobertson02: Danny Carey is a legend, I mean it. Have you seen him on a drumkit, like not just audio? Like live, he has so much power, speed and most of well calculated, his mind works like a machine, his style is pretty unique and super technical in both timing and technique. If Bill Bruford and Carl Palmer both were married to each other, and adopted a child, he'd grow up to be mother effin' Danny Carey, except it would either be Danny Bruford or Danny Palmer, hmmmmm, heh.. Nevermind, (Edited by struanrobertson02) struanrobertson02: NOTE: Not Danny Carey on drums, just a dude covering, if it was Danny, he'd be to big for the camera so you'd seen nothing. Mz Demeanor: I don't think I noticed Mick Fleetwood mentioned in here and he definitely deserves to be mentioned. He is awesome and he always looks like he's having the best time of his life when he's playing. (Post deleted by struanrobertson02 ) struanrobertson02: Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Danny Carey, John Bonham, Marco Minniemann for me. struanrobertson02: My favourite drummer would be Bill Bruford. He plays all the styles of music I like, like Jazz fusion, Instrumental Rock and Progressive Rock. This and he is extremly good at all three. He can flow with a great ryhytm no matter how technical the drum beat it, he has unmatched creativity (Only Phil Collins compares) and his styles differ alot too. When drumming he doesn't look THAT impressive technically, still very impressive, but his real talent lies in his creativity, ryhytm and diversity in style. | Music Chat Room 20 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
