Technically he is good but his actual influence on music and procreation in general is probably zero. How many Neil Peart beats have been sampled by other musicians or DJ's? How many great drummers have been influenced by him? Can you name one of the top of your head? Yep. Exactly. There are drummers that have had spawned entire musical genres from a single break beat and then there are guys like John Bonham who have influenced practically every drummer that came after them. Neil Peart is not one of those guys.
