top 10 rappers?? (Page 3)
BIG DADDY MACK: YEAH JAY-Z IS WAY OVERRATED HES OVER RATED LIKE VINCE YOUNG WHEN HE PLAYED FOR THE LONGHORNS!! AND REMBER NAS IS WAY BETTER THEN JAY-Z WILL EVER BE
kelpraj: hey first of all BUBBLIE KANDY list is AMAZINGLY GREAT it deserves to be written with a gold pen and kidblaze you listed 3 things when i asked for four, that already should signify something and your wrong in sayin hers is a copy of mine coz hers has Ll cool J which mine doesnt and mine doesnt have BOne thugs, method man, Easy E, and ODB as well but it has the essential components of sanity. and these are Em, Jay z, Nas, Pac and Biggy.
And then to kill of why longevity is not a good enuf quality as compared to lyrical content, lyrically 50s first album was original and they were original and innovative but The Black album was a better album hands down. Why i compared these two albums is because one is 50s and one is Jays old and new money!!! and because The black album was at the end of Jays life when 50s was just beginning but look at it no one has put 50 above Jay on their list unless they have Balls of insanity to put it lightly.
KidBlaze98: "your wrong in sayin hers is a copy of mine coz hers has Ll cool J which mine doesnt and mine doesnt have BOne thugs, method man, Easy E, and ODB as well but it has the essential components of sanity."
...really? Did I say that??...Oh, wait...no, what I think I said was that I don't understand why your so uptight about what you base your list on...I don't believe I said anything about your list personally. Wanna know why I only based my list off three things??...Because, It's my list and I can put whatever the blaze I want!
Anyway, while we're on the subject of Jay-Z, allow me to put my two cents in...Jay-Z in my opinion is no way an original. Why?...well, for starters, he's bitten so many times off Biggie that his mouth still has the aftertaste of Mr. Wallace to this day.
The only albums to me that comes close to originality are "Reasonable Doubt" and The first Blueprint...after that it just started to sound like typical stuff. Ask anyone who's ever picked up a Talib Kweli album, "Is this original?", and take a wild guess of what there answer would be...that also goes for Jean Grea and Immortal Technique...who are also on my list. Jay-Z didn't innovate jack spit! The only reason the guy is even famous to day is because he took Biggie Smalls place as somewhat of an overlord of hip hop or something...the same way Lil' Wayne took Jay-Z's place now...now this my friend, is my definition of a hip hop titan...
