My_special_life: Just found this forum, and so I will give some thoughts to my list shortly. Listing the best guitarists isn't easy. It has to be based on muscianship + innovation/cntribution to music and not because they played for our favourite band or the genre is what we like. That sort of objectivity isn't easy, but making a list is still fun. My list would include Jimi H, Daune Allman, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, B.B.King, and Ry Cooder.
