Do not legalize marijuana musicallym3: To all you pot heads/ social smokers/ and dealers... It would not be beneficial for you if bud was legal. It would be in the sense that you could openly smoke it without being harassed, or you could continually smoke regardless of your career choice or perhaps if you were on probation... However those are the main benefits. If the government gained control of marijuana it would, point blank, become too expensive, As if its not already so. It's a plant for crying out loud, but its worth more than gold is ounce for ounce. So when you think to legalize it... maybe you should think again. Feel like spending 100 on a half 8th??? Or maybe even more? I know I DON'T!!! I know The legality stresses are exhausting... Stashing your bud, praying when you get pulled over, eye drops, detoxifying regiments, or whatever other precautions you may or may not take. But i know people who have been smoking for a long time and manage. So maybe we should do just that... manage before the costs of smoking increases... literally! Tax it...Imagine the revenue...Save Social Securiy  musicallym3: If marijuana is illegal and there are so many benefits (on the govt's end) on legalizing it, then why do you think it has not been done yet. A person (hypothetical) who has a grow house (not even a very large one) makes on average 20 thousand dollars every two months. Thats stretches far beyond a 9 to 5 (in most cases.) So imagine how much money the government would make if they legalized it and raised the prices. Does it not seem like a win, win??? There is obviously a bigger reason for their constant objections, leading society to believe that this harmless (maybe even helpful) plant is a drug. Placing McDonald's and Burger king on every corner is killing our nation at large, pesticides on our vegetables that we buy at the grocery stores perhaps, but this plant that nobody in the history of history has ever directly died from is illegal while hundreds and thousands die from alcohol abuse... Marijuana in fact may be more helpful in ways that we do not even know of (or at least what is revealed to the public) because of the legality issues. The first marijuana laws of our nation, were ordering farmers to grow it (hemp paper). So why is it illegal??? I have a couple of reasons circling in my dome... lets hear yours. P.S. Well then you must know about how our prisons are overcrowded. More then 50% of our prisoners are in prison for some sort of drug offense. Now i train MMA after a 4 year lay off lol. I grew up believing that pot "marijuana" was bad and evil. Listening to people that smoked a pack of cigarettes per day while they were drinking their Whisky, Votka,beer ext (those are drugs by the way) saying "don"t ever do drugs kid". And they kept saying that marijuana is a gateway drug. At 28 years old now and healthy, i have realized for many years that its all a lie! And i think it should be LEGALIZED cause people will smoke it anyway! As for Gateway Drug??? The only gate it opens is my fridge and the gate to conversations with other people.
