Is Online Love Possible..????? Hot_interesting: I have seen many guys & gurls proposing each other online... Some times i find it very funny... Can they really meet..??? Is their love true..????  StolenHeart: absolutely, it's possible. I know people who have met, and even married after meeting online. TrueLove is love, no matter where u find it. StolenHeart: I think that's not really true. I have a friend on here, who met her current bf, right here on Wire. I myself have grown to feel a strong sense of love for someone I met on here. I also have another friend on here, who is now engaged to the man she met here. It is very possible.  Hot_interesting: It sounds great... Even i am 1 among them..:-)  dillybear: I think online dating provide a great introductory service but could only take u so far,there would have to come a point where the couple would surely want to meet and take that relationship to that next stage,in person. My brother met his now wife online and hav a baby due nxt January but they lived in the same area and only chatted on line for a short time,then started dating....in the real world.... For me unless i or the other person was prepared to move states or countries i wouldnt see the point continuing in a long distant online relationship. Hot_interesting: Ya even i agree with this... Because the people who are chatting are on a long distance it could be quite difficult to meet or to take the relationship to the nxt stage.... But if the LOve is true no body can stop them... I've never tried it but have nothing against it, my views on it are that it's providing an alternative venue for meeting someone. Should someone put all their eggs in the online basket? no, but the same should be said about bars and clubs as far as meeting your potential mate. For people who work all day it gives the opportunity to "shop" right at their desk, definitely not coventional but if nothing else, very conveniant. Why, in your opinion, do you feel it's foolish?  pablitox: well....i dont know if it is myself...but i dont see why love could grow from an online thing...i think it is illogical... neither i would want to try it...it just doesnt go with me.. It's fine to say "I disagree and feel that it's a foolish thing to do" but for the statement to have any sort of meaning or impact you have to add the "for these/this reason(s)" StolenHeart: if it's illogical, why have so many relationships created online, ended in marriage, happy, successful ones at that?  Babes: hmmmm, it is possible however, starting a relationship online can be unwise due to the fact that many people online are false and just play games, i too have met several people online, moved countries to try for a relationship only to find without the intensity the computer brings, the people are different and i too acted differently, i don't know weather it is a protective thing or not, however, with me i was alot more myself when hiding behind a screen than i was in real time, and jusst having the net to communicate and phones, intensifies the feelings alot, i dont understand why, but it does....I don't blame anyone at all, these things happen, and i have a gorgeous baby boy as a result (well 2 now but the second is a different story).. I just think you have to be a lot more careful with online things, you do find the genuine people but they are getting fewer and further between, if you know what i mean.....
