Prohibition CoIin: Alcohol is the bane of society. It's detrimental to both the individual and to the community as a whole, yet it remains available over the counter. It should be banned once and for all.  Hic! Oops, pardon me.  LiptonCambell: I agree completely. We should all strive to live in a prohibited society- everything runs better when no one is abusing their bodies LiptonCambell: I know, right? We either need more diverse range of people in this, or a devils advocate.  lavendar_star: lol, are you guys having laugh or had a memory lapse with history, look what happened with the Americans when they banned alcohol, the mob got bigger and got richer and people were making their own beers and wine at home and selling it. I think it was one the worse laws in American history and the first amendment of their constitution to be revoked. When something becomes illegal it becomes more desirable despite alcohol being the most abused drug and causing countless problems especially in Britain. The horse is bolted out of the stable and it can never and will never be banned as it would be unworkable as history has shown. btw I am not much of a drinker. I was just adding my 2 pence piece because to have a debate you need opposing arguments. Well I could say prohibition is working in some Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia so why cant it every where else (even though I know thats not true lol) Ok this will be hard for me, its hard to argue for the irrational side.
