Be fearless!

What is it that you fear? Why? What purpose does your fear serve? What steps could you take to overcome it?

Overcoming your fear can come from confronting the problem and doing what it is you fear. You might just realize it wasn't as bad as you had previously expected. You can also face the problem in small steps until it no longer scares you. Try to find the source of your fear. If you can figure out why it frightens you then you can find a way to heal. Try to do at least one thing that frightens you as often as possible and soon you will discover it holds no power over you anymore.

Three deep breaths. 1... 2... 3...

No matter where you are you always have time for three breaths. I was once told that even as few as three conscious breaths can be considered a meditation. It can relax you, release negativity, relieve stress, boost your energy, and help to retain your inner balance. So the next time you are feeling a bit stressed close your eyes and give it a try.

Some people think that it is holding on that gives you strength... Often it is letting go.

Find strength in your losses. Release your grudges and forgive others. Let go of your attatchments.
Don't allow the negativity of others influence your mood. Be the stronger person and just let it go.


Letting go requires more strength to achieve although it does have more strength to offer you.

Moderation is mandatory.

Anything used in excess can be harmful for you. Even water can be fatal if drank in large quantities. Limit your use of everything in order to be healthy and happy. Use moderation of time also. Don't waste your time being a t.v. zombie or an internet addict. Limit your usage of entertainment. Try turning everything off and enjoying some silence. Enjoy your food slowly instead of shoveling it in quickly take the time to chew and enjoy it you may find yourself to be satisfied with less. Everything in life should be used in moderation, use less and appreciate more of what you do and consume.

Imperfect_Perfection: Too much self love will make a person narcissistic. Too much love for others, and not enough self love, can cause a person to be used and mistreated. Love is best in bulk but balance must still be maintained.

Set goals.

Make a list of goals you would like to achieve then break them down into sub goals. What can you accomplished today, this week, this month, this year?

It can also be helpful to join a goal setting website. 43things.com is a fabulous example. You can list your goals write about your progress and obstacles. You also get to send and receive cheers on goals.

However you choose to list them get started today!
*Many fine things can be done in a day if you don't always make that day tomorrow.*

Know your worth!

In order to have high self esteem and self worth we must first learn to accept and love who we are. We must speak to ourselves with kindness and value ourselves as worthy of our own love. Everyone has flaws and perfection is an unobtainable goal though excellence is possible! Don't let any harsh words from others rob you of your self worth or esteem. Let it go and forgive them for their wrongs. It is they who get to keep the negativity if you refuse to accept it.

Additudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?

If you remain positive and optimistic others will be drawn to your inner light. No one enjoy's a constantly pessimistic negative additude. Or an energy vampire that leaves you feeling drained and depleted after being in their presence. Share your smile or a kind word with a stranger and see how you feel afterwards. Make a conscious choice to radiate your happiness. Don't allow others negativity to affect you or the way you feel. *The way others treat you is their karma. How you react is yours.*

If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong!

Your life should be fun, and filled with all the things that bring you joy. If you have lost interest in the things that use to bring you joy maybe you should take up a new interest. Hobbies, family, friends, competitions, volunteering, gardening, exercise, a trip to nature, or singing and dancing to your favorite music are all examples of interests to bring joy. It doesn't matter what you choose it only matters that you enjoy what you are doing. Bring more fun activities into your life. Smile and laugh as much as possible. Express your love for others and be kind to all. Enjoy your life. If it harms none do as you wish!

Remain present in the *now*.

The past is set. No matter how much you regret what you did or did not do you can not change it. Forgive the wrongs and mistakes holding on to grudges only hurts the holder.

The future is not guaranteed to come. If you withhold your happiness for some future event to make life *perfect* you will miss out on all the good around you in your life right now.

Your life is happening right now! In this moment anything and everything is possible. You can choose to be or do anything you wish to do. If you waste your time regretting your past and wishing for the future it will all be over before you ever choose to live! Get out and do. Take pleasure in the simple joys of life, smell the roses, play and have fun! Make a conscious decision to do at least one thing each day to bring yourself joy. This is your life, in this moment, right now.

Can't never could do anything.

You can do anything you set your mind to do. Whether you think you can or can not do something, you are correct. If you want to do something then do it! Don't allow fear or uncertainty keep you from the life you desire. When you look back on your life from your golden years will you regret failure or never attempting more? *Live like there is no tomorrow and learn as if you will live forever.*

Don't use the excuse you don't have enough time to do the things you want to do.

Stop saying there is not enough time for you. Every second of everyday is yours to use as you wish. Don't tell yourself you don't have the time for something or you can't find the time, *take* it! Your life is yours and in this moment anything and everything is possible. Schedule in that *me time* or take that trip you always wanted. Give yourself a spa day or just go out to nature for some fresh air. This time is yours and only you can choose what you will use it for. Use your time well and enjoy every moment you have left.

Stop focusing on the negative and look for the positive in your life.

If all you ever search for is negativity it's all you will ever find. Shift your attention to what good you do have in your life. Obsessing over what you consider wrong with your life or what you want and do not have does no good. Instead be thankful for the good you do have and all the bad you don't want and have successfully avoided obtaining. It may take time or extra effort to see the positive but the rewards are well worth the work.
