is wrestling fake?? Metal Monkey: Its predetermined, that much is true. But is it fake? I say not! The art form of wrestling is very physically demanding. When you see them body slammed or thrown through a table, their bodies are actually taking these bumps! There's no stunt doubles, no second take. If they mess up a move they could quite possibly be hurting the person they are in the ring with, even possibly kill them. Sure, the match could be thought up move for move, hold for hold in the locker room, but what those men and women put their bodies through to entertain the fans is the most real thing of all! They bleed, break bones and tear muscle all in the name of wrestling! I put this challenge to you. All you Americans, find your nearest veteran wrestler. Make sure to find a mean one! Go up to him and ask him if wrestling is fake! Metal Monkey: And as I said, your a brainless idiot if you think a powerbomb isn't gonna hurt somebody! Go f**k yourself! BdayMa§§: Hahahaha.... Dude go smoke some more meth, and beat your wife and children u piece a shit. Metal Monkey: I don't know what you think I am, but judging by your grammar and moronic responses I am of greater intellect. See they let any idiot have an opinion, but it doesn't make you right. Facts are facts, its predetermined, but they really are doing damage to each other one way or another. Its more real than anything you go through in your pathetic little life boy! Now run along, I'm sure you have other childish things you could be doing and parents you could be annoying. I assume your one of those stupid yanks living in your parents basements lol Lilann: I think it's planned out but somethings always bound to happen... but who cares I still watch it.. a lot of talented guys and girls out there KevBrooks: Hum as a Wrestler I can tell you this is not fake Dude, that really hurts the only thing that is "fake" is that we know who's gonna win, but it's like a movie, you will just like it for what it is dvustimmer: I don't know. Is this really up for debate? I mean it's not like they don't do interview and tell you it's predetermined, and they are not trying to hurt each other. Not like they didn't recently have tough enough on showing you guys and gals learning movesets, being graded on shooting promos. There is nothing much here to question or think about. The guys in the industry pretty much fully say what it is. The industry pretty much says what it is. They play characters and their job when in the moment is to try to suspend reality. And wow, judging by how many people still don't get this, I can see why alot of wrestlers are getting some acting offers and doing this stuff outside of wrestling. Alot of what they do is at the spur of the moment between the people working the promo or match. When you think they have lives just like you and me, and not everyday is a good day, they still can go out there on cue, perform, for the most part adlib, and get the job done. These are to me, my opinion, some of the most ammazing dedicated professional entertainers/athletes/stunt men and women, bar none, in the world. I've been to lot of wwe events in my life time, I have to say these people are, above everything else, the nicest most approachable, appreciative of their fan base people you could ever go see. I'm part of that fan base. I'd I'm not putting down any wrestler anywhere when I say the best was, is and in my book will forever be Adam Copeland AKA Edge. Got it done in the ring, the mike, year in year out never stale. OMGTurtlesEverywhere: I believe it's scripted as far as the outcome of matches, but I'm unsure of everything they do in the ring is scripted as well? Either way, the pain is real that they endure in the ring. Some of it is probably over-exaggerated, but to do what they do on a daily basis (not just on televised shows) is pretty insane, and may be why so many have been addicted to painkillers. That may or may not be right (I'm too lazy to do research since i should be doing homework ), but seems probable for the deaths of many wrestlers in the past. Going to a show in person though is pretty sweet and definitely recommended. (Post deleted by MoKsha_ ) MoKsha_: Its all staged A human being needs to have 9 lives of a cat to stand that kind of physical pain and yet survive morc: yes its fake but that doesnt mean those guys are easy to take down Theyre still in crazy shape Azimuth_Predator: Guys guys guys!
