ScarlettKnight: No, they didn't get enough attention. So they most times redo a profile. New fake pic, new pick up lines. Catfishes have it hard sometimes.

That mut took off from my car like a speeding bullet,

yippeskippy: Some delete because they don't want to delete friends they suspect are fake or cause too much drama with others. Or they have friends who are friends with people they don't like and worry too much about whether that person is talking crap about them and/or might be spies.

To be fair, there is a strong possibility the other people they don't really want on their friends list won't add them back and they were just waiting for them to delete.

It's an attempt to avoid any kind of confrontation with a specific person or persons. They can live with the fact that 'deleting' is the only thing people with complain about. This has been going on for years though, so its not new. Nobody really cares anymore as long as that person doesn't bring their name into it.

The problem with deleting is that if you come back with a new account and break certain TOS rules (at least this is what I have read people say), you're account is flagged faster for inappropriate behavior and you could risk getting a quicker, longer suspension or even a ban.

Sometimes two different people will use a 'mutual' friends profile to engage in e-fighting to avoid getting suspended/muted from rooms. It's sad when a person's profile is picked, but I think it's worse when said person doesn't take back control of their own profile. They enable the parties involved instead of deleting the thread. Then they wait for a period of time before eventually 'deleting' themselves only to come back later stating they needed a Wire break.

It's hilarious to watch the people fighting 'apologize' to the enabler for disrupting their profile.

The enabler isn't 'neutral', they are enjoying their profile being the center of attention. That 15 minutes of Wire Fame plus its entertainment for them.

You can only do your best to get along. I would and have taken control of my profile and deleted anyone who has tried creating drama on any of my posts. They were pissed at me later, but too bad.

I will always choose 'myself' above the pettiness. Fk that shit.
