Mystery88: for all the animal lovers here, we all know the joys of having companionship of our furry, scaly, slimy, loyal and wonderful companionship and when we lose these beautiful parts of our life its heart breaking. not ever one under stands the pain of losing an animal but I know that I have lost some of my furry friends over the years. so here is the forum to tell everyone about your loss.

coolkatz: I had to put down my dog on the 11th of April 2012 because she had been diagnosed with a brain tumour the September of the previous year, she was put on steroids to ease the swelling on her brain but they only help so far, they started to wear out her liver and she was loosing weight, forgetting who she was, who we were and also forgetting the basics like that of being house trained. Even though I am a trained veterinary nurse and have seen many animals being put down for various reasons it was still very hard to make that decision but the other side to it was that I knew that I would have to make that decision and at least I was able along with my family and say goodbye to her and make sure her last days were happy ones. I remember the day too, I walked her down to the vets with my dad and while in the waiting room Meg went over to my dad (cause dad never came to the vets with me, but they were best friends so he wanted to say his goodbyes) and put her head onto his knee as if to say it's Okay and dad says it's Okay Meg you'll be in a better place, one were it won't hurt anymore and then I was called in to the room!! Such a sad day and every so often she pops into my thoughts and all the random crazy stuff she used to do. Meg was a cool dog!!

Aussiekitty: I still miss my black cat Gomez and my grey cat tiger lily Gomez died and l had to give tiger lily to my local cat haven because l couldn't afford the vet bills she was sick they promised me that they would help her heal l miss her like crazy same with Gomez.
