slasian: I think I smell some rotten brains, is that you Farwuq? Why don't you go to your camel herding job like your forefathers. I think your father begot you from a camel, we know that it is your tradition to sleep with camels and sheep. Learn your vocabulary first, then learn how to eat properly, this isn't the smelly sands of your fathers land only then my mother will date you. See farwuq, our culture is not like your dumb culture; women have the right to choose their date. I think your father had raped your mother when she was 6, yeah we know your religion allows it and your great prophet has also a 5 year old wife.

Go learn the right way.

diegoleonalvarez21: THE BIBLE . altho i have to say that besides the stories being absolutly boring the book is not as dumb as the readers that love it. the book has some good parts i mean tons of sex, genocide, hippie wizards turning water into alcohol, and one of the biggest scumbags in literature as the villan, GOD

deacon7771: I was surprised and disappointed to see that the "Clan of the Cave Bear" was about the best of Jean Auel's writing, each succeeding book got worse and worse, and then unbelievably worse! "Clan of the Cave Bear" did have it's faults, some obvious "page padding" with repeated phrases and such, but at least there was a story to read, then came "The Valley of Horses," and the mind numbing repetition of describing the male character "Jondalar," I must have read "the tall blue eyed Zelandoni" about eight million times, and the author just HAD to include some description about his huge penis every time his name was mentioned.... OK, I get it, he has a big one, you only need to say it once, twice for emphasis, any more and it sounds just plain stupid. The "Earth's Children" series just got progressively worse. The last one, "Shelters of Stone," I am ashamed to admit that I actually spent money on buying it.

deacon7771: I sooooo agree with you Mafdet! I tried to read the Quran, and well, it was just a bunch of nonsense and B - O - R - I - N - G! I only read a few pages, thinking any minute now I will find some great wisdom locked in it's words, and I just was very disappointed in the Quran.

slasian: Isn't it a wonder that the Quran and the Holly Bible are the most printed, read and loved books? Yes they are boring but how on earth can all these people love them, and revered them above all the other? Many people, even read them everyday even though they know each chapters by heart.

The Bishop: Ghost, how about when you do not know they are dumb and tiresome before starting, would you quit?? It's funny, the only times i've read terrible books is when i tried other readers recommendations. Readers have their own opinions and taste in novels. I need to read summaries for myself and if it intrigues me, I go with it.
