jayhaywalker: The first big fat book I ever read was 'The Rainmaker' by John Grisham, when I was 14. Almost as if the book chose me to read it. After that I read almost all the books he had wrote till then. Moved to onto Robert Ludlum and Tom Clancy. These guys really made the teenage days feel thrilling and smart.

da Sweetest: When I was 6, I read the first real book (which is over 100 pages). The title was 'Dinosaurs' World'. That's when I began falling for reading. Years after, I got to read some books: 'the Little Prince', 'the Old Man and the Sea', 'Who Moved My Cheese?'. It wasn't until I became 18 that I truely understood messages of each book. Whenever I feel connections to books I read, either they are fictions or non-fictions, it feels like I read a book for the first time.

NikitaDNA: my first book ummm........... if you mean the one my mom used to sit and help me read then its the documents on Satanism and their rituals.... Its documents that she got from her church and only had me reading it to scare me into not speaking to strangers. My mom had a fear that they would come for me when i was little. Some parents are to over protective of their young
