First Book you Ever Read (Page 7)

wayne elliott
wayne elliott: Mr Meddle, which was a very old book about a naughty man who went to a party and, while the magician wasn't looking, took his magic wand and made three wishes, one for lots of chocolate, one for new pair of shoes and I can't remember what the third wish was (I was about 7 or 8 yrs at the time - oh so long ago).

The chocolate tasted like salt, the shoes got tighter and tighter, and i can't remember what the third thing was. In the end he had to go to the magician to get the spells reversed. The moral of the story was not to be like Mr Meddle and take things that don't belong to you. I can't remember what the third thing was.

I remember reading Moccasin Trail in second grade- I honestly don't remember the story line or anything- but I remember loving it and not being able to put it down, and not wanting to read 'little kid books' anymore lol
