foosquad: Free Cash Flow (FCF) is the most important metric to track and nurture. Beyond that: invest for the long term and keep cash in your business for as long as possible. Also, consider using your business as a tax-advantaged investment vehicle (your business can own a portfolio of securities and debt as well as any individual).

Jack Scott: Meatpacker, it's funny you say that because I was thinking the same thing. People are bragging about what their digital currency is worth but I really want to ask them, "Is there someone who wants your digital currency? Is there someone waiting in the wings to buy it up from you the moment that you want to exchange it for US dollars?"

meatpacker: Jack....Another big problem is lot of these countries don't have the same valuation in the digital currency.....so it's buyer beware....

Mzor, Botz, they all trade on NASDAQ
(But u have to do your home work)....
Another stock i like for the long run is NVO/ny......they make insulin, supply is always in demand...diabetes is not going away anytime soon..

The giant midget: You guys are all spot on about the digital money
I personally not into that stuff because I don't have any faith or trust in crypt currencies as its value is the same as Monopoly board game
I don't even trust the traditional banking sector, I personally just keep enough funds to cover household bills and cars trucks bike insurance I pay cash for daily or weekly necessities
Don't label me as a pessimistic person which I am not
I don't think that our banking system will run away with my handful of pennies I just dont trust our infrastructure specially and foremost Electricity
In times of crisis cash is always King
Without electricity a citizen flashing all his/hers credit cards, their atm debt cards you can't even purchase a bottle of water to crunch the thirst of a child
You may have a million dollars sitting in a bank account but you don't have access to it you are good as penniless
Society has been addicted to plastic money past 20 years

Jack Scott: Based on what you're saying Giant Midget, it would almost make more sense to buy everything with plastic while stockpiling your cash. That way in the event of a crisis, you'll have the cash on hand while everything else you need is payed for with borrowed money.

The giant midget: True to a point Jack
Borrowed money isn't cheap
But in time of ""crisis """ that little plastic card is useless
