electric or salt water cars which will become the norm ???

devilsAdvocate2
devilsAdvocate2: I am a firm believer that we will change all transport to alternative power within the next 10 years (we have to). But recently i saw a story about a guy who accidentally discovered the right sound frequency to extract energy from salt water. Following this story i discovered it would be very possible to have all cars "converted" to this form of energy inside of 5 years.Wow amazing thing but will the vested interests allow this to happen ???

Dark Nemesis: Yeah, you can run a can on H2O. It's complicated. I think I've seen the salt water trick w/ RF. I don't think it's applicable for powering anything. It's an overunity thing. I like the way you're thinking, but you're still inside the box....Electric cars are cute but limited. You can use many different types of fuel for a car but gasoline is the biggest bang for the buck...ie power and economy. Check online for HHO, Water Vapor, Cracking Water...but please, don't believe everything you see. Threre is NO PLUG & PLAY!

GONZO_JOURNALISM
GONZO_JOURNALISM: Agree with dark above, H2o cars are not realistic, especially in cold northern climates.... Ethanol is garbage/filler fuel, uncompatible with many engines for optimum performance...
Electric still has a LONG way to go before it becomes usefull/mainstream....
Diesel is still the most economical in terms of mileage/cost of fuel, however the diesel vehicles always cost more upfront.... As for the gas companies allowing mass alternative fuel cars soon-keep dreaming, no gas = no profits....follow the paper trail
