I don't really talk to people, I keep to myself and there is always that awkward silence between that person and me, but what I did to help myself was chat with people online. when I did my first vid chat I was nervous as can be but over time doing all those vid chats really did help. Now I am able to say things and there is no awkward silence. Try vid chatting with girls, you'll be nervous for the first few times but once you get the hang of talking and looking at them in the cam then you should be ok to look at them in real life it will just take time thats all and being a virgin at 22 is ok.
