Could it be with other women who are also in a relationship, and therefore cheating on someone too, or are these guys only sleeping with single women?

Common sense tells me this is a two-way street, with both sexes traveling on it.

citygirl04: IMO you need to walk a mile in somebody's else's shoes before you can throw stones. Who on this forum have never made a mistake or did something they wished they could take back? I know I've made my share, I don't profess to be perfect, but I don't plan on spending the rest of my life paying for my mistakes either. I choose to learn from them.

citygirl04: Sometimes the "victim" isn't always the victim. There's always 3 sides to the story, his, hers, & the truth. I'm not saying that it's okay to cheat, but some people do it for more reasons than getting laid. All I'm saying is you can't judge a person without all the facts.

calypso84: It depends on the person, I believe. Someone might make a mistake and cheat, but never do it again. There are also people who can't imagine being faithful to one person for all their lives or they're looking for an ego boost that other people are still attracted to them. The second group I described will always cheat. No question about it.

If you haven't established that, then how would you know what their problem had been and be able to try to fix it so it won't happen again? Frankly, the fact that someone cheats on you indicates that something is wrong with, or missing from, the relationship, and that the relationship has not been mature enough for that person to talk to you about it and let you know that they are unhappy. Sometimes, by the time they get around to cheating, the problem has grown in their mind and they're resenting that you haven't noticed that they're unhappy. Cheating is a symptom, not the problem.

AriesCharm: If you don't trust a person you don't trust your self....If a person cheats its situational,,not every one has the belief system of old fashioned values you either play a role or keep it real( how many brides should really wear white? just sayin),,funny how the judgment is just the same.when hiding behind a mask..when you are with the "one" no way will you cheat,,you will adore and make it known your all in ....true and loyal...Because that " one" will make you feel and know there isn't any one or thing that can replace what you feel when you are with them.It's more then a feeling it a knowing you have it all...and "it" cant be defined...thats where people can be deceived,,,thinking hey I gave you " it " all I'm all that and a bag of chips....The " it" factor will get you every time...Never assume you gave "it" or had "it" , cheating is not about you,,,it's about the person who cheats seeking the "it" that may never be found ,,yet you may be in their path...Wow not sure where all that came from tonight ,Great topic tho....
