LoisS: haha No, I meant more like...People change and sometimes its a good thing or bad thing. You cant think you are going to be the same person and love the same way you did when you were in your teens to 20's and 30's so on... You have to remember, just because you love someone, doesnt mean a few of the habits you or they have dont need an adjustment, compromise etc. LoisS: They do, but the person has to want that change. If being "told"....I dont think that is going to work. Conversation usually does help but people forget that and start to threaten or lecture... "You better change or I will, If you dont do this I am going to do this"....Instead of, "is what youre/im doing helping our relationship or hurting it? Let's talk. And I was pretty active, and thank God that I never got any diseases. Well a few years after graduating I married a woman and we thought we were in love, but in reality it was lust. That marriage lasted 3 1/2 years, before she moved on to another fellow. In the time between my first and second wife along with my regular job I took on a job as a door man at an after hours club. She and some of her girlfriends came into the club and we started talking. Well we started dating, but she wouldn't come across for a few weeks In that time I got to know her as a woman not just a sex partner. But when it did happen it was the greatest of my life. Now I'm of the opinion you have to have feelings for your partner, treat her as a woman not a semen receptacle. We were together for 40 years then she passed away. Neither of us really changed, we adapted to each other. She had never been on a motorcycle before she met me, but she grew to love it and even started riding her own. For the 40 years of marriage, she was sick for 20 of them, Liver transplant, then kidney transpland then Ovarian cancer caught in first stage. If she hadn't been taking the anti rejection drugs for the transplants she would have beaten the cancer. The anti rejection drugs kept her body from helping the chemo.
