Does true love exist? (Page 2) The giant midget: Sex without so called love has been going on for thousands of years If there's a physical attraction Go for it It depends on moral values too Jack_The_Traveller: Yes, True love exist. but during relationship, don't try to change your partner..just love him/her as you met first time. LoisS: haha No, I meant more like...People change and sometimes its a good thing or bad thing. You cant think you are going to be the same person and love the same way you did when you were in your teens to 20's and 30's so on... You have to remember, just because you love someone, doesnt mean a few of the habits you or they have dont need an adjustment, compromise etc. LoisS: They do, but the person has to want that change. If being "told"....I dont think that is going to work. Conversation usually does help but people forget that and start to threaten or lecture... "You better change or I will, If you dont do this I am going to do this"....Instead of, "is what youre/im doing helping our relationship or hurting it? Let's talk. Seems easy enough but people dont bother to speak to each other. I see it all the time and think, man if they would just talk and be uncomfortable for a minute things might work out or they could understand one another better. flamingred: women seem to be able to communicate on a much higher level than men , i am speaking generally of course as there is always exceptions flamingred: when we women get together and start to talk we get down to the nitty gritty where men are still at what about that football game last night , or worked on my Roadrunner last night it was running a little rough delawaredevil: I graduated high school in 1970, so I was right in the middle of the free love movement. And I was pretty active, and thank God that I never got any diseases. Well a few years after graduating I married a woman and we thought we were in love, but in reality it was lust. That marriage lasted 3 1/2 years, before she moved on to another fellow. In the time between my first and second wife along with my regular job I took on a job as a door man at an after hours club. MMM Hot and cold running women. That's where I remet my second wife, seems I knew her just to say hi to, and I was a friend of one of her brothers and one of her sisters. She and some of her girlfriends came into the club and we started talking. Well we started dating, but she wouldn't come across for a few weeks In that time I got to know her as a woman not just a sex partner. But when it did happen it was the greatest of my life. Now I'm of the opinion you have to have feelings for your partner, treat her as a woman not a semen receptacle. We were together for 40 years then she passed away. Neither of us really changed, we adapted to each other. She had never been on a motorcycle before she met me, but she grew to love it and even started riding her own. I just got her to open up a bit where she was so shy. flamingred: well delawaredevil, u have hit the nail on the head about you have to have feelings for your partner, treat her as a woman not a semen receptacle many men say women are cold we are not cold we just like to be treated properly and then it all falls into place if there is a chemistry flamingred: leonora , i was pointing out that women find it much easier to talk about feelings and sex where men stiick to sports etc The giant midget: Delaware, by the sounds of it, you had a good loving life with your wife, yes there has to be a connection/ feelings to be successful in any relationship Red me lady, I know men that can name every single part in a engine or every football player in all the teams but fail to know what their spouses favourite colour are A very very old Canadian native Indian saying "" if you have no ticket, you are not getting your dry cleaning clothes back "" (Edited by The giant midget) flamingred: lol wll those Candian native indians know what they are talking about they also said .... When the white man discovered this country, Indians were running it. No taxes, no debt, women did all the work. White man thought he could improve on a system like this.” – Cherokee flamingred: here is a good east indian one “By plucking her petals, you do not gather the beauty of the flower.” – Rabindranath Tagore The giant midget: Those Indians had already figured out that women wanted equal rights many ,many moons ago , by women doing all the work Old ancient Canadian native saying "" beauty is in the eye of the beer holder "" flamingred: they may have done the work but at least didnt usually get their asses shot off by cavalry gattling guns lol LoisS: I disagree there about "women talk about sex and feelings and men talk about sports" Men talk a shit ton about sex. Maybe you mean they dont talk about what a woman actually likes, instead of what they "do to woman" Women to friends - I fell deeply in love with him when he first looked into my eyes yadda yadda...... Men to friends - I fucking love her man.... delawaredevil: Go back a few years, Pre car computer. And I can name every part of a chevy engine, no matter mouse motor or super Rat. I'm into Harleys now, but I don't talk to women about twin cam as opposed to shovel heads, let alone the Evolution. I listen to what the lady is saying, and we go from there. My wife and I were totally in love with each other, but I'm not looking for a replacement. For the 40 years of marriage, she was sick for 20 of them, Liver transplant, then kidney transpland then Ovarian cancer caught in first stage. If she hadn't been taking the anti rejection drugs for the transplants she would have beaten the cancer. The anti rejection drugs kept her body from helping the chemo. No I don't want a replacement If ever again, I want a healthy woman. | Dating Chat Room Similar Conversations |
