How do people consider themselves and their role in this universe ?

Alcyone: I used to believe that no matter what you do the result is always the same , every thing has an end and every thing seems absurd no matter how important it it , and then I started thking and looking at things diffrently ..knowing that I am contributing in humankind evolution , knwoing that I'm a part of progress , I am a part of a new kind of indevidual evolution that can show the real virtues of men like justice freedom..etc
scientific progress , what if we overcome death ..in ur oppinion how far can we take ouselves ?
