GHOSTS....Do you believe in them ???? (Page 2) uglycow10: It was not a figment of my imagination. I was quite lucid and I stood staring at it..just cannot explain it. I will not be dissuaded because I am 1000% sure of what I saw. The explanation is what I serk  quarks: I have never experienced anything which would render me a believer of ghosts. My awareness of ghosts however has nothing to do with their possibility of existence or nonexistence. There are tons of people who swear that ghosts have been observed. Taking the Böhr approach observation establishes existence, ghost in the least have in certain circumstances and times existed. Issue is since the observation can not be universally shared, they can be said only to possibly exist. In end I am open to the possibility and have no reason doubt someone who has personal experience involving ghosts. It would be dishonest for me to claim know what another experienced was. Therefore I trust in the least they precieved what is claimed. This does not mean that I challenge their perception nor accept it. More of an open belief of the experience and then one can seek all possible explinations. To me not understanding a cause does not render any possibility useful or wasteful. I have had one experience when I saw one a while back. I was with some roommates at the time. I never told them what I saw that night (a shadow figure of a girl looking at the window). I knew that it wasn't any of my roommates because they were all sleeping next to me. A few days later one of them mentioned seeing the same shadow girl that I saw.... What I thought to have been a figment of my imagination. Turns out that they have all seen it. I have never seen a ghost since then. I still am unsure if they are real. If they are real how come only certain people experience them? Shouldn't we be seeing a lot more ghosts? We don't even know for sure what happens when we die ( I don't think we will ever know until death of course). I am open to the concept of there being paranormal beings and such. Us humans can;t explain everything that happens around us because we are limited, not just because of technology but because of our own perspectives (what we experience both physically and mentally). We should also acknowledge that just because WE can't explain things, that doesn't mean they don't exist or that it is impossible for them to exist as well. ^_^ struanrobertson02: Maybe the shadow of the girl staring out the window was her on the moon, with the moon shining down on the window.
