Guidance

carriecisneros1: Hello everyone,

Im not jewish, i came here in hope of finding some answers or guidance if someone would be kind enough to help.
I have been called to know more about judaism for more than 10 years now, each time I try to get started on my own I feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and dont know where to start. Could someone indicate me what a good place to start might be, what to read, what topic should go first? I've tried first to start with hebrew because i thought it was important, maybe im mistaken.
