(Page 13) (Post deleted by staff )  hornchurchmale: man has been eating each other since neanderthal times both deliberately ( cannibals) or for survival. lots of history men stranded etc . where its wrong is to kill another simply to eat them! bear in mind if Americans we in fact legal to chop up and put out with other meats..they would be immediately banned as full of. cancer causing chemicals ! hornchurchmale: love to have you on menu as a dish but to be enjoyed not eaten . can't have cake and eat it! hornchurchmale: but then you get fat.. lol and we are talking about. eating each other not a nice cake just avoid eating Americans unless really desperate . (Post deleted by staff ) hornchurchmale: bear in mind if we look at history and a certain British sinking with a handful of survivors in a boat with no sails..they ate youngest member of crew saying it was accepted 'law of the sea' and were very surprised when tried in court for it! smack in wrist received and went about their way. attitudes. change. look at recent event aircraft crashing in mountains .. to survive in cold freezing etc they started eating the dead. eventually 2 passengers managing to get down of mountain and inform authorities still alive and get all rescued. yes it is abhorrent as we have bene conditioned to respect human life and get enough to eat without struggling. Many other. historic occasions show it has occurred and more so where lower social ideals are not in place. once when a ship foundered it was every person for self! only later ( check out Titanic) that it was deemed correct morally to have woman and children first! though at moment we can afford to bury or burn deceased it ha bene predicts that within 50 years planet population will be so huge that despite rationing of food it would be deemed essential to recycle muscles/tissues etc from human beings for re-use! those without diseases that is. though we also have to look at increasing pressure to do away with elderly using up resources and needing excessive aid to survive . limiting life to 70 has been proposed. though. unthinkable at moment ether is increasing pressure to stop servicing old people . at moment we have restrictions on drugs .surgery etc once over 65 .if you have covid 19 ? then tough .essentially very unlikely to get ANY support medically here in UK . so in reality its about perception . at moment we can perceive its NOT right to eat others . on a Side not..if Americans were legally able to be butchered like meat and sold alongside cows . sheep etc. USA health laws would immediately remove and ban not for illegal selling of humans but illegal selling of meat UNFIT for consumption as most America food are full of. chemical we absorb and body cannot shed . thus becoming poisonus ! if you think you are safe USA has managed to get genetically modified foods sold across uK and EU using its power and threats that unless we bought ! there would be trouble for us. up in North America wheat belt etc there are dozens of farmers getting cancer and dying early where these crops are grown but any attempts to get information are blocked.  Campion: About 30 years ago "mad cow disease" was a real concern. It was a problem with the cattle feed. It was enriched with protein derived from cattle carcasses. It was a kind of cannibalism. The same disease is found in humans in those areas like Papua New Guinea where cannibalism was practiced well into the second half od the last century.  zeffur: re: "Is human cannibalism wrong?" Would you want anyone to kill & eat you? If "No" then you understand why it is wrong. If "Yes" then you are insane or desperately trying to survive. Of course, if a person is dead & you are starving with no other options, then most people would probably do whatever is necessary to survive.
