( chemicals are main suspect at Moment) point is that overall planet rates of birth are rising and even if stable ..the resources on planet are in decline at. an ever increasing rate. ergo a world war that uses its finite resources with regard to future populations is doomed . whole planet uses format of 'growth' .so we have more cars.freezers. building etc and while we have 'growth' economically every body is happy! sadly like all pyramid schemes it is doomed to ultimate failure. bear in mind that in humans past history ,it was always war that regenerated things! ought not homes lose value like cars etc ? as they get older and Not gain value .shows where population growth and immigration has a large impact ( often negative) a modern society ought to have a system that assist disabled, elderly .mentally ill etc. and provides for medical assistance .housing where they cannot provide for self. sadly these systems when set up in a society are often overwhelmed by demand both from those who finance it and those whom travel to get advantage of it ( not having contributed long term to fund it) world is not nice at moment and WILL get worse.
