fast food places ElectricPotato: Never heard of noodles and co. what sort of dishes do they serve there? pasta on the go? lol Wampum6: Depends on what you order. Things can be divided up in Asian, Mediterranean, and American. Each section has dishes that are noodles, curry, pesto, salads in each category, Thai, Chinese, Penne, Pesto, Pasta, soup in each category, You can choose an item from one of the categories and add chicken, beef, or tofu. Given the way the menu works, a basic meal will cost up to $7.25. The laces are tiny, but have places you can sit and eat if you don't want to have carry out. It is served hot after a reasonable short wait, and packagesd nicely to take home or wherever. Don't go there all that often, but am pleasewd ech time I do. That may be more than you wanted to know----or not enough. Wampum6: You can probably find out more by going to noodles.com, and not have any typos, either. I have an idea that they are not nationwide. ElectricPotato: oh that looks good, like its one of those fresh places like subway or quiznos. I'd give it a try if it was affordable. How much do they charge for a plate of pasta? Wampum6: EP----the highest price charged around here for a combo plate is $7.25. And when you think about it, what you get is, to me at least, better than what one gets at Wendy's, but the comparison is like apples to oranges, and is purely opinion. Keep in mind that Wendy's HQ is but a few miles from where I live. Mc Lovin: Anything over $4 is over my budget when I'm eating fast food. If I want to eat at a restaurant that isn't fast food, no price is too much if the food, service, environment is good. Still, when it comes to fast food, nothing beats McDonald's fries, Wendy's just fried nuggets with ranch or BBQ sauce, McDonald's coke, a nice and juicy Big Mac... I could go on, but I'm salivating extensively and am gonna make a run for the border I think.... or something similar. Wampum6: Isn't the chalupa a resurrection of an item at Taco Bell? Maybe yopu can get a peak at the nutrition info. I've heard it can be a killer of sorts-----almost like a burrito that's as big as your head! Mc Lovin: Look up nutritional values for a fast food item? Yeah, I eat fast food for it's nutritional value! NOT! That's like trying to figure out how good smoking is for your lungs. If you eat fast food, it's not because you're trying to stay healthy, it's simply because it tastes good and nothing else will suffice in it's place and because it's cheap and fast. Hence, the word fast in "fast food." Wampum6: You make a valid point. On the other hand that a lot of people eat and have no idea what they have eaten nor if there is any value or detriment to what they eat. But, each to his own taste, oerhaps. Mc Lovin: I'm a health nut and I still prefer a nice and greasy quarter pounder every once in a while. When I start eating quarters pounders for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I'll consult a nutritionist. Until then, I'm gonna feed my salivating tonsils what they desire. Mc Lovin: I hear slowly cooked food is not only the best tasting food on earth, bu the best for you. I once at a chicken that was cooked for 8 hours. I was thoroughly unsatisfied. Mc Lovin: BTW, the more you cook vegetables, the lesser beneficial nutritional value, apparently. I'm all for eating it raw... and the girls never complain...rather, they tend to agree with eating raw.... matter of fact, they love it from my experience. LookingSpecifically: I like a lot of stuff, but what I dont like is SUBWAY! All these decisions, and it always comes out crappy. ColonelKusanagi: Wendy's: nuggets and single patty baconator. McDonald's: big mac and bbq sauce. Burger King: Milkshakes, mozzarella sticks. Quiznos: Chicken Carbonara awe hell everything at the quiz. Checkersile of cheap burgers. Charlie's Cheese Steak: Bacon 3 cheese steak. Arbie's Mozzarella sticks. white castle: everything but the sweet tea, at least once a year, not to exceed 5 times a year lol. starving now must get to the fridge, i'll add a few as i think them up. | Food Chat Room Similar Conversations |
