Salmiakki - Finlands "gift" to the candy world =)

traweller: Salmiakki, AKA salted liquorice is a strange tasting candy of Finland. It is known and used also in other Nordic countries, but mostly Finns are using it in the strangest ways. If you haven't EVER tasted it, you must try. There are many possibilities to do that.

Here are my recommendations for you how you can get familiar of the taste of the taste of Finland. You can choose how you would like to taste it. Beware!!! You MIGHT not like the taste so I will post here some reactions.

Sadly, I couldn't found a good video to post here, but you can imagine what happens when people like as much the candy as you could see before + then that taste is mixed with 32% vodka =)

You know the poisonous animals which have the bright colors, the snakes, caterpillars, frogs and fish, they all have bright colors to warn they are bad for you. Well. When you see that white and black shape in candy, beware!!! =)
