lestheluscious: o yes it works but for a good crust normally they say it should be 20 or 30C hotter - anyway the sugar overcomes that. Industrially they are under pressure to reduce sugar and salt added for health reasons though I think private bakeries get away with it. Any real bakers around?.

Wonderbunny: Ha ha. Industrially produced foods contain more added sugar than home made. It drives me mad trying to avoid it. It's just not necessary in breakfast cereals, savoury snacks, pasta sauces...the list is endless.

new not: i think across life folk get sick , years of eatting sugar, and nice dried sauages , loads of wisky jin etc , agree with the above as well , its shorter so i dont have to write all again lol !
