Favourite food? tbulb: Found an amazing Indian restaurant yesterday. Food that was flavourful--didn't blow my socks off! What's your favourite kind of food?  Captain Canada: Seafood cooked by Portuguese/Italians or Spanish gastronomy traditions. octopus,squid,crab,cod,eels, muscles,every that comes from the sea. Nice bottle of wine and good company I am in heaven baby  Big Bopper: A type or an etnicity of food that is my favourite is a difficult thing to define. I rarely eat out, and cook most anything. The last was gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce. You must try this! The gnocchi is a bit of effort to make, but I did a lot and froze them. Gorgonzola cheese makes the tastiest cream sauce, but I can have it with pomodoro, any tomato sauce, and it's spectacular with pesto. It is one more thing I can make ahead and have on hand in the freezer. I also make a spectacular pizza, which I do two at a time and freeze. It is easy to thaw in the microwave, then dry heat in a covered pan. Easy, delicious and reheats just like it was fresh made. So it looks like Italian is the latest ethnicity.
