Greeks can Cook with Romance and Love

Romanceandlove: Aphrodisiac comes from the Greek root aphrodisios, meaning “pertaining to Aphrodite,” the ancient Greek goddess of love. It’s a substance that, when consumed, acts as a love drug and increases one’s sex drive. No wonder then that Greek food is the most romantic food that you can make.

From some of the best lamb dishes on earth to fresh seafood, vegetables, beans, pulses and, of course, good olive oil, Greek food is simple, colorful and incredibly nutritious. Like other Mediterranean cuisines, Greek food has a reputation for being heart healthy. Moussaka – a hearty dish made of layers of lamb and eggplant, smothered in béchamel sauce and cheese.This is just one of many dishes.  When Greeks taste something delicious they have a phrase that they use "I kiss your hands", celebrating the skill of the cook.

What is as romantic as a kiss? Eating double thick Greek yogurt.

The giant midget: You said one thing that's very true "" Greek food is simple,colourful and incredibly nutritious,like other Mediterranean cuisine.
I prefer southern Spain , Portugal ( Azores and Madeira ) ,Italy ( Sicily ) for its seafood over Greece
Those same nations but in their northern regions excluding the Azores islands their ( BBQ / grill ) Churrascos of Pork / Beef / Lamb / Poultry / wild Deer / wild Elks and other Wild game meats are truly amazing , a true supremacy over the Greeks .
In my opinion,the lamb dishes in the outskirts of Tehran or in Casablanca are far the better than everyone else's

Romanceandlove: I've heard that the food but also the cultural experience in Casablanca is to die for. The place is still on my bucket list. Hopefully I will be able to visit Morocco once all this Covid madness is in the past.

The giant midget: Morocco is a very beautiful country,it's my moms birthplace I have travelled there quite often ,cuisine is reasonably good within the tourist areas but for a great culinary experience is within the little towns along the Atlantic coast far from the international travelers.where in any restaurant you can enjoy a variety of home cooked delightful dishes ,anything from the freshly caught seafood to the just butchered meats .
Don't ask for western nations foods like pizzas,hamburgers,etc in these little restaurants it's a insult specially if it's owed by elderly people
I am not the typical traveler that stays in one hotel every night, I rent a car , my suitcase is small so where ever I end up that evenning is where I look for accommodations and enjoy the nightlife.
