WAR MACHINE: cause it happens to almost all ps3's eventually.. its a common problem . dont bother to let stores fix it either cause its only a temp fix and itll happen again... if anything contact sony.. how long did he have the ps3? if your under warranty they will replace it for free,.. or if not then u have to pay something like 100 to 150 to get it fixed... its worth it tho.
