When you of age, I beleive that marijuana is much better than drinking or other drugs. It should be legalized to buy mary jane, its way less harmless than drinking or popping pills. Yes, this drug is a little bit harmful and can show up on urine tests that are part of many employment processes, during police investigations, and can impair cognition, but look what your article says about long-term use: "Our understanding of marijuana's long-term brain effects is limited. Research findings on how chronic cannabis use affects brain structure, for example, have been inconsistent. It may be that the effects are too subtle for reliable detection by current techniques." The active ingredient, THC, can also be ingested through hash brownies, or chocolate bars completely circumventing the damage to lungs, even though bongs and vaporizers reduce a lot of the damage as well. Quite frankly, I think that if people do use this they should use it very moderately. Certainly we all can become very depressed occasionally and it is better than other more dangerous drugs out there. Sure, they own a lot of resources, but they can't tell us what we can do and control us like puppets. jsonaut: They don't own "a lot" of resources, they own all of them. They do tell you what to eat, what to wear, what to think. Whether you listen to them is up to you, but a lot of people go along with it. Anyway, smoke it up if you want, or don't if you don't wanna, that's freedom. Metaverseguy: Yea I know a lot of politicians are bought by multi-millionaires that haven't gotten off their fat asses and done any work in years, but what can we do? It's a never ending cycle that has been with us for centuries. astridarris: I wish I could partake but it stiffels my breathing and my heart races terribly...I dont get why? Metaverseguy: When you inhale the smoke it can cause a burning feeling in the lungs and if you aren't used to the drug you can cough uncontrollably for awhile. They sell THC inside brownies or cookies and other treats which gets rid of the lung problems. Bongs also try and remove the pollutants that you would get from a joint or hash pipe. It will typically raise the heart rate though from 20-100% according to webmd. So people with high blood pressure or heart problems should probably avoid the drug. astridarris: Thanks, Much appreciated....I notice if intake a good amount my nerves all start twitching uncontrollably as well.......I really wish i could get a handle on it cause i do enjoy the Clarity of everything. astridarris: Ok im partaking and i still have not fully mastered it ( the calm state) but I am trying. I do notice that it helps me relax more when my eyes are closed and Im in the still darkness at night in My bed...However if im up in the day milling about, i get very nervous.
