Marijuana: The Miracle Drug (Page 6) wargypsi2014: I love the lifestyle of the marijuana smoke, I dream of it too. Its all good. Hell I could legally grow it!! stonebutterfly: Totally, stress relief, and for me it is an amazing pain reliever. Alcohol makes me feel terrible, quit cigs years ago, gotta have a vice! Metaverseguy: I think more states will pass it in the coming years after Colorado and Washington. Don't know what the fuss was all about to begin with since the people that started the War on Drugs were probably high writing the laws. Making it legal just means criminals can't make a huge profit on it so it will probably reduce crime legalizing it. It's illegal now and the border patrol has entire warehouses of confiscated drugs that pile up to hundreds of tons per year. Metaverseguy: Sure would make this town more interesting if I could go to a cafe and smoke a bowl. Apparently it's safer than alcohol when driving as well. Metaverseguy: I have a medical marijuana license, but I just read up that employers or sometimes even landlords can kick you out for use, despite it being legal and recommended by a doctor. They shouldn't be able to do it because state law protects people under SB 420 and Prop 215, but there's been cases where people have been fired. It's really a ridiculous law. If u get drunk there's a huge hangover and potential for DUI. No hangover with pot. Hopefully it passes here in 2016, just like Colorado and Washington. wayne elliott: You are lucky your government has grown some brains about it. Here in Australia it's all still illegal. Have a cone for me. Metaverseguy: Well you know the Opium Wars that took place in Hong Kong was caused by large opium trades going on near that sea. It brought huge sources of income, but everyone became addicted and they f*$kin British and French were shipping and receiving millions of pounds of that product to China for money. When China confiscated and burned a large supply from them they got all butthurt and sent over their insane navy, which trampled them and China was forced to sign over Hong Kong to Britain for 100 years. It was a huge trading port that generated lots of tax for the government which they lost to Britain for so long. Lesson learned: getting high might be nice, but not always best decision politically. (Edited by Metaverseguy) chris12344: so the reefer madness film doesn't reflect the whole view of people in the 30's? because all those crazy anti drug people should have just asked actual cannabis users I guess Fog Swept Glade: It has nothing to do with reality other than explorative people seeing other drugs from time to time. Often without being in public or going insane because of other‘s misused devices. Fog Swept Glade: Alcohol may cost you one workout or responsibillity. Marijuana used consecutively will cost many of both. Marijuana may contain health benefits checked against an aspirin like diet. Marijuana doesn‘t make you a baby starver or beater. It doesn‘t make you crazy. | Health Chat Room Similar Conversations |
