Legal Nonprescription Supplementation : Hypertrophy, Hyperplasia

Fog Swept Glade
Fog Swept Glade: Does anybody know about working oral supplements that are available over the counter that make muscles grow or recover? I like to take a couple of supplements from time to time.

theHating: hmmm, creatine (whey protein) comes to mind, also glutamine. i used to use nitrogenated beverages as well to keep muscles oxygenated and caffeine to stop fatigue, but no amount of otc drugs will help if you dont eat enought food haha.
(edit: i really got hooked on the nos energy drink, but if you are trying to raise metabolism and burn fat while increasing muscle mass, my advice, from personal experience, is to avoid sugar like it's the black death.)

apparently mtc oil? and the search results say....
"MCT OIL
The medium chain triglycerides that make up MCT oil deliver energy straight to the muscles you'll work in the gym. Plus, because growing muscles increases metabolic rate—which means you're burning more calories—most lifters need to increase their daily calories, too. MCTs are an easy way to get more calories per day without feeling like you're force-feeding." never heard of this stuff, myself..

theHating: just now noticing the two words hypertrophy and hyperplasia, i have absolutely zero idea what context that frames your question in except for maybe having an issue with some neural process or a hormonal one relating to difficiencies in dha or a lesser chain, maybe the mitchondria in the cells are not producing as much atp? (if thats a thing they even do, trying hard to remember my biology class studies)
