lemons in pie

myresort: this recipe calls for sections of lemon (4 whole ones) Do you scrape off the pith? Do i cut them up alittle? It doesnt say anything about it. This is the filling putting in a sauce pan with sugar,etc please help i"m in the middle of this thanks toni
