Engineers might come in handy and somebody to look after any plants grown for food.  cassiopeia01: I am writing my first novel so I would love to bounce ideas off of each other if you are interested. Finding people to talk to about this is hard ghostgeek: My ideas tend to curl up and die when exposed to the light of criticism, something that makes me feel really glum. cassiopeia01: Well I don't criticize. But I do like to ask other writers for tips if you are interested. I'm writing my first book so I'm new at this ghostgeek: Maybe, before you slog your guts out, you should ask yourself why you want to write a book. It isn't easy, and the rewards are vanishingly small unless you're one of the vanishingly small number of authors that people have heard of. ghostgeek: Been trying to get some of my short stories published.
