What hobbies are fun to try out and affordable for almost anyone?

AretoNyx
AretoNyx: I am open to any ideas to hobbies of any sort to try on my time off from work. I enjoy crafty stuffs, journaling of sorts some, video games, reading, hiking, and other stuff presently. Though hobbies to volunteering I have less time now because work hours are all over, and budget is still very tight to afford even crafty stuffs. I am not great at things but hope to do things helpful to useful most. I love spending time with family or as group gaming and other activities. Been a while since I hiked but my job has me walk all day , and much lifting so a bit beat on days off to do much on physical hobbies. I read library books more but hubby rather buy books. What are hobbies any of you enjoy with others or by yourself at any cost? What are good hobbies that are to try out and relax? I am interested in trying things I have not before. Any ideas sound good to me to learn about.

AretoNyx: Smaller space than that and no sun enough. However maybe very tiny potted plants that do not grow much and can take shade.

cbg_burt
cbg_burt: Cigar box guitars are cheap and fairly easy to build - but some tools are needed. They are also pretty easy to play. Another benefit is they make great wall art and conversation pieces. In fact, I never planned to sell them but people are always commissioning me to build them one or they buy one right out of my hands. Any hobby that pays for itself and even makes money is a win/win.

oceanviews: Bird watching. Get out in nature and take pictures of different species of birds. You can check out a site called ebird.com. May even show birds in your area. Lots of people do it so may meet people that are interesting to chat with. Maybe find Facebook groups where you can post your pictures.
