AretoNyx: I mentioned games as a hobby but got to wonder is it at times not. Is it sort like saying watching tv/ youtube is a hobby? I guess movies and sex can be a hobby but when does something become such?

I guess I am overthinking it. Lol

AretoNyx: I enjoy hobbies I can do with my kids too. One can create good memories with family doing such fun activities together as games or sports.

dclark13: Hi AretoNyx, photography does just that, Creates Memories. With the technology of phones today you don't need to spend a fortune on a camera. Just start shooting things or places you like. Try different angles and adjustments on the phone. When you get a photo you like, have it printed. It's very Zen-like and satisfying to see something beautiful that you created.

straywlf: Try leather crafts. Get a roll of leather and make small things at first. Wallets, knife cases, pocket books or satchels. Eventually you will get to vests. The key is to tool designs on them. A hand crafted vest can sell for $120 easy. I use to do it while I had down time on the road. Sold the stuff at truck stops or craft shows along the way

tmbleweed: hi Mika, oh it's kinda like fishing, sometimes you find things all day long and other days you hardly get a bite. I would love to detect some civil war places, old farms or properties that arent federal land

wanderiam: Since I have a short attention span I try hobbies that are smaller that take less time to finish. Some hobbies like collecting dont take much time or money. I usually start a project when I see something at the store for a price thats too high and say I could make that at home. Its fun and could be a one time thing until something else annoys me lol

AretoNyx: I have done that. I don't like to have to much clutter but I do like using creativity. Collecting things that are useful or sentimental is something I rather have around.
