Best Trilogy (Page 2) drackxman: The Trilogies picked so far are all Tops. Thought I'd mention the Underworld Trilogy with Kate Beckinsale. Vampires, werewolves and all that stuff. All this talk made me think of one from the 70's. It's 3 shorts, not movies, however, interesting to check out. Trilogy of Terror with Karen Black. Oh, heard a 4th Underworld is being made. xxzero: i can say the same about spiderman trilogy.. first two really good... last one big disapointment.... xxzero: kurosawa directed much more than only three samurai movies... i counted at least nine (only watched six of them)... kmzu21: Yeah, I've seen a lot of them. But the Samurai Trilogy was awesome. I like Toshiro Mifune a lot. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. kmzu21: Some of my favorite Kurosawa movies include: Ran The Hidden Fortress (which was the inspiration for Star Wars) Red Beard Dreams Sanjuro Yojimbo Seven Samurai (of course) xxzero: "The Titanic trilogy." good choice ... also know as The Olympic-class ships trilogy a good set of documentaries about british ocean liners brothers (olympic, titanic and britanic).... "Rashomon was not one of my favorites." rashomon (first movie that i have watched from kurosawa) it's more a mix of supernatural suspense police thriller set in ancient japan than exactly a samurai movie... "Gandhi was great, but the two sequels sucked." the two sequels (The Making of the Mahatma and Gandhi, My Father)... they got good reviews but never had the chance of watching.... Brett666: 'Oh No! Theres a Negro in my Daughter!', parts 1 to 3 were kind of cool....Part 4 (Oh No! Theres a Negro in my mom!) wasnt much to write home about though, i am dissapoint! PS. The movie does exist, google it! lois_lane: All the ones mentioned are good.. I like Resident Evil ,all of them for me, there wasnt a bad one believe it or not in that trilogy.. Since other people said ones with more then 3 Friday the 13th 1,2 and 3 were all good! Porky's 1 and 2 were funny as hell but then 3 sucked.. Star Wars 1,2 3 Awesome!! sidpayne: Since no one else has mentioned them I feel safe in saying the Evil Dead movies. Sure they're extremely campy, but for a fan of cheesy and "so bad they're hilarious" movies, this is definitely my favorite trilogy. StuckInTheSixties: I really liked Ass Blasters and Ass Blasters 2, but Ass Blasters 3 had a weak plot. feliciayovita: Jurassic Park ! and II (The Lost World) the book author, Michael Crichton, a briliant writer about the movie directed by Steven Spielberg, awesome movie not too bad for the third Jurassic Park, it has a bigger and new dinosaurs appeared there. but the previous episode was more thrilling | Movies Chat Room Similar Conversations |
