Best rock band is... (Page 3) Pogo: Hoosya daddy solid lineup!!! F#y^ that's a tough one... but considering they blew my mind in concert and have the best rock opera ever made I'm going with The Who!!! Best solo artist is Tom Petty.... yes I'm aware he's with the heartbreakers and ya....  numba1chief: I'm still waiting for someone else to say Motley Crue. I love Metalica and Pantera yeeeeeee  caveman60: I would have to say the rolling stones just cause I grew up with their music and at the time hated the Beatles but to day love just to put it right i love all kinds of music. Rock is my favorite and I have not heard to many rock bands I did'nt like some better than others. I am now starting to put all my lps [over 2200] on computor so I can put them on disc. So I can send my lps to my son's. Hopefully soon. ROCK ON AND ON ALL MUSIC WAS MADE FOR THE SOUL. So love and understand your music. And it will help you through your good and bad times.  Seranya: My favourites are: Tokio Hotel... (I know it's not really a rock band, it's more pop-rock, but still...), Linkin Park, Simple Plan, Garbage.  Carleh: All time best band, Led Zeppelin, hands down. Rush is up there... I mean they happen to have the second best drummer, Niel Pert, next only to Mr. John Henry Bonham himself. (For those of you who don't know who Bonham is, he's the drummer for Led Zeppelin.)  nekromancer07: Bonham's great no doubt, but I'll take Neil Peart any day. Sorry!
