Deep Dystopia's Music (Post deleted by the real slim DEEPy ) Center_STAR: I think it's different and good to mix more rock into electronic but I would like the sound crisper and more defined. I would like it be as if the listener were climing a peak to see the next rise in the sun. As it is it feels suppressed like music deep in a cave. I hope that presents what I mean in words. Keep up the good work. Peace the real slim DEEPy: thx for the constructive criticism, star. the lack of crispness is the result of analog synths, they sound warm and organic, whereas digital synths/vst's sound crisp and brittle. its my preferrence to use the analog hardware, i perfer the dark, organic sound. the real slim DEEPy: nirvanas cool, but their imitators sort of killed rock for the rest of the 90's the real slim DEEPy: i dont have too much more, this is the best i got... my other stuff is house/technmo, and im not too proud of it the real slim DEEPy: i stopped writing music 5 years ago. my meds took away my muse. nowadays i just play guitar/sing for church and make beats. ive lost the spirit of melodies and composition, im afraid, and i have a nerve problem in my hand that inhibits my playing, and typing. Giraffe_: ahh ok, well thats understandable, but what you have here can make you some money, its better than some shit ive heard | Music Chat Room 26 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
