Anything Goes Songs (Page 3)
Mz D Meaner: I really liked that song and video by the Dead Milkman. It was so bad it was good! Very amusing!
Mz D Meaner: and mentioning the word "reminiscing" has brought out the memory of this song. A very nice song.
Mz D Meaner: I do too. It's kind of like that song "One Thing Leads To Another". One song makes me think of another..... and this is what popped into my head now....
ShawnXx: Which songs did she do in the 80s that I can add to my playlist cuz that's when I was listening to her a lot but I'm not sure how old the songs were at the time? I should probably google it.. lol
Mz D Meaner: The Tide Is High and Rapture are all I can think of right now, but I think there were a few others.
Mz D Meaner: Heart of Glass was 1978. Also One Way or Another was from that same album, Parallel Lines. So it looks like only The Tide is High and Rapture were their big 80s hits.
ShawnXx: Wait I just read that it was 81 and inspired by Kraftwerk, which is cool, but I guess I have to look again.
Mz D Meaner: I just read that Call Me was big on the charts in 1980, but I haven't found an album that had that song on it.
ShawnXx: Crap, I think I might just put Heart of Glass on my 80s playlist anyway cuz it's my favorite so screw technicalities. lol
Mz D Meaner: I just heard an Ellie Goulding song on the radio this morning for the first time. I :heart her voice too!
Mz D Meaner: @ Colonel that Of Montreal is interesting music. I like it. The video was a little weird in a good way.
